Welcome
Art of the Cure for Juvenile Diabetes strives
to bring the collective and creative talents of the artistic and
scientific communities together to help fund and find a cure for type 1
diabetes.
To
achieve our goal we will endeavor to engage both fine and performance
artists to our cause, leveraging and presenting their talents through
special events for the purpose of raising awareness and support for
cure-focused research and education.

We wish to thank all the supporters of Art of the Cure for Juvenile Diabetes for making our innaugural event on Cape Cod such a remarkable success. Our organization was delighted by the overwhelming response towards our efforts
to fund a cure for type 1 diabetes.
The
fundraiser resulted in a check for $90,000 which was presented to Dr.
Douglas Melton, Co-Director of the Harvard Stem Cell Institute, at a
gathering of HSCI staff and Art of the Cure committee and board members
in Cambridge, Massachusetts on October 27, 2010.
