Like so many successful ventures our organization was conceived by circumstance.
At our core is a group of artists, each distinguished in their own medium. But beyond our collective creativity, an even more powerful connection was discovered. Each of us is affected as a parent or grandparent of a child with juvenile diabetes. In a call-to-action, Art of the Cure for Juvenile Diabetes was formed.
Our Mission
Art of the Cure for Juvenile Diabetes strives to bring the collective and creative talents of the artistic and scientific communities together to help fund and find a cure for type 1 diabetes. To achieve our goal we will endeavor to engage both fine and performance artists to our cause, leveraging and presenting their talents through special events for the purpose of raising awareness and support for cure-focused research.
